Our History

Founded in 2005 by telecom veteran J.R. Vernick, RDS Solutions is an independent service organization providing telecommunications service, consulting and management for businesses.

At the time the idea was simple: create a world-class customer service experience around telecommunications, an industry known to be challenging and frustrating. This defining principle proved to be missing in the marketplace and quickly propelled RDS to a leading provider in the telecom space. Today, RDS has evolved into an unparalleled organization of sales, support, and engineering professionals.

Executive Leadership

J.R. Vernick

J.R. Vernick founded RDS in 2005 after a successful career in sales and management at Qwest Communications. He managed premier accounts and was a perennial Qwest President’s Club winner and top producer. J.R. built a reputation with his clients as an invaluable resource and trusted advisor and founded RDS under those principals. With more than 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, J.R. currently serves as the President of RDS, overseeing day-to-day operations and sales efforts. His “lead by example” philosophy has helped to develop what he considers the best team in the business. J.R. is a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Management.



Darren Jones

Darren joined RDS as a partner in 2006 and serves as Vice President of Sales. In his current role, Darren oversees all activities associated with company growth and marketing. Prior to RDS, Darren was a top sales producer and perennial President’s Club honoree at Thomson Reuters servicing hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and investment banks. Darren began his career in accounting and finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LP in Manhattan. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and is also a Certified Public Accountant.



Paul Vuoso

Paul joined RDS as Vice President of Technology in 2011 to lead the company's engineering efforts and technical strategy. Leveraging over 15 years of industry experience, he provides carrier agnostic network design and recommendations. Prior to RDS, Paul held engineering and management roles for Qwest/CenturyLink and was a Circle of Excellence honoree in 2010. Before Qwest, Paul worked in the private sector managing infrastructure projects and IT operations. Paul has an MBA in Technology Management and earned his bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey.
